Company Summer Requirements

Senior Company Nutcracker Weeks This is a 2 week long intensive that requires an audition for our Ballet Repertory Company.  This intensive is for our more serious students in level D and above and is for the purpose of learning Nutcracker choreography.  Ballet Repertory Company is a  year long commitment that begins in July with summer requirements and run through the following June.  In order to fulfill your commitment, you are required to take the summer company intensive along with a Director approved summer ballet intensive.  Through the school year each dancer is required to take 2 ballet classes, a jazz class, modern and their ballet repertory company rehearsal.  In addition to the 2 ballet classes, some dancers might be given additional ballet classes and pointe classes depending on their level. Students in this intensive must bring water.  Dancers will be allowed to leave to buy lunch.

Junior Company Nutcracker Week The Director may ask some lower level or recreational students to participate in additional pieces for The Nutcracker.  This is by invite only and requires an audition.  These students must be available for rehearsals during this week.  These students will also be required to fulfill specific class requirements as noted in the contract.
