Musical Theatre Camp is the new version of Intro to Broadway. This camp is geared to our Level A and above students and will include different forms of jazz. During this week long camp you will get a more in-depth look at Broadway by learning choreography and lines that you might see on the Broadway stage.
Junior Dance Camp is geared to our youngest dancers starting at the age of 3 (by October 1, 2020) and going to about 7 years old. This camp will be a combination of several forms of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, and tumbling. It is a great way to try several genres all in 1 week.
Lyrical/Jazz Camp is a week long camp for all dancers ages 7 and above. This camp will work on fine-tuning skills that will be usuful in all of your dance classes.
TLC Camp is geared for all dancers in level B and above. Dancers will work on tricks to help your turns become more consistent, your leaps to become higher, and your body more physically fit and flexible.
Intro to Ballet Camp is for our Intro to ballet and Ballet A dancers. This camp will focus on proper technique in a fun, enjoyable atmosphere. Dancers will learn a small variation to be performed on the last day of camp.
Ballet Intensives are broken out by age and ability. Dancers will be placed in an intensive by their teacher and the Director. All ballet intensive weeks will end with a small demonstration for parents to enjoy.
Petite and Repertory Company is a week long intensive that requires an audition. These intensives are for our more serious students in level C and above. Petite and Repertory Company are year long commitments that begin in July with summer requirements and run through June. In order to fulfill your commitment, you are required to take the summer company intensive along with a Director approved summer ballet intensive. Through the school year each dancer is required to take 2 ballet classes, a jazz class, and their company class. In addition to the 2 ballet classes, some dancers might be given additional ballet classes and pointe classes depending on their level.
Dance Repertory Company 1 or 2 is the new name for Musical Theatre Company. We have added a new level, Company 1, for or more serious, younger company members. This camp has an audition requirement and carries a full year long commitment. In order to be in Dance Repertory Company, you must also take the appropriate jazz class during our normal dance season.
