Tuition Information

 

Tuition information is available in the office.  Hudson River Performing Arts Center provides free trial classes for new students.

TUITION POLICIES

Tuition may be paid annually or in 10 equal installments, due on the 1st of the month.  Please make tuition payments by cash or check to the office; you will not be billed.  The tuition amount is the same each month regardless of the number of classes held per month. June tuition is paid upon registration. A late payment of $20 is added on the 11th of the month. Tuition payments and late payment fees are non-refundable.

Our tuition plan takes into account classes not held for holidays or breaks.  Refunds are not given for missed classes.  Students are welcome to arrange make-up classes with director approval for excused absences, but are not guaranteed.  Classes cancelled by the studio, due to inclement weather, or for other reasons, are subject to available make-up classes and will not be refunded.

 

First and last month tuition are due upon registration, along with an annual registration fee.  Registration fees and tuition are non-refundable and non-reversible.

Our annual registration fees are as follows:

         $30.00 for the first child, and $25.00 for each additional child

HRPAC accepts cash or check only for all payments including tuition, costuming, and performance fees. 

There is a $35 charge for all returned checks or insufficient funds.

All payments go towards the oldest outstanding balance on the account.

Costumes will not be distributed until account is up to date. 

We require 2 weeks written notice for class withdrawal.  Your tuition amount will be changed for the following month.  

All students participating in our annual full-length ballet performance will be charged a $50 performance fee in addition to costume charges.  This fee goes towards props, scenery, theater rental, extra rehearsals, etc. All students participating in our annual recital will be charged a $40 performance fee in addition to costume charges to help cover the cost of the theater. (These fees must be paid in cash/check).  Any performance fees not paid on time will incur a $20 late charge.

Students whose accounts are 30 days past due may not be permitted to take class or participate in performances until their accounts are up to date.

 

Fee Schedule:    

  • July/August: Company Nutcracker costume fees
  • September (or upon enrollment):  First and last month’s tuition, Registration fees, Nutcracker costume fees.
  • November: Nutcracker Performance Fees, Recital Costume fees  
  • March:  Recital Performance Fees
